Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
These are the standard terms for working with Awesoft Solutions, written so a business owner can actually read them. Each engagement is governed by its signed statement of work; where that document says something different, it wins.
1. How engagements work
Every engagement starts with a written statement of work: what will be built, what “done” means, the quoted price range, the payment schedule, and the timeline. Nothing is built and nothing is owed until you approve it in writing. Changes to scope are made as separately quoted change orders — the agreed scope and range never quietly grow.
2. You own the work
On full payment, you own the deliverables: the source code, the repository, the documentation, the tests — everything created for your engagement. No license back to us, no proprietary runtime, no ongoing fees to keep using what you paid for. The only exceptions are third-party open-source components (which come with their own standard licenses) and our pre-existing internal tooling, neither of which restricts your use of your software.
3. How the work is built
Build labor is performed primarily by Favur, our autonomous multi-agent software system, directed and reviewed by us. We say this in our marketing and we say it here: it is the reason for the speed and the price. We — the humans — remain responsible and accountable for everything delivered.
4. What we warrant
For 30 days after handoff, we fix defects — behavior that contradicts the statement of work — at no charge. We warrant that we have the right to transfer the deliverables to you. We do not warrant that software is free of all bugs (no honest firm can), that it will fit purposes outside the statement of work, or third-party services it depends on.
5. What happens after delivery
The engagement is designed to end cleanly: repository transferred, deployment documented, runbook delivered. Ongoing support or hosting is not included unless the statement of work says so. You are free to maintain the software yourself, hire anyone else to, or come back to us for quoted change orders.
6. Price and payment
Our cost is driven by the compute the agent team consumes, so the statement of work carries a quoted range rather than a single fixed number, and the final price is settled at the end of the project within that range, based on what the build actually consumed. Typically about 20% is paid up front to start the work; on larger projects the remainder is paid at agreed checkpoints as working software is delivered, and on smaller ones at handoff. Invoices are payable within 14 days unless agreed otherwise.
7. Confidentiality
What you share with us about your business stays between us. Our case studies are demonstration projects we built ourselves; a client engagement only ever becomes a case study with your written agreement.
8. Liability
Our total liability for an engagement is capped at the amount you paid for it. Neither side is liable to the other for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
9. Questions
Email hello@awesoftsolutions.com. If any of this needs adjusting for your situation, the statement of work is where we adjust it.
